** MIKE'S BIO **

THE FOLLOWING CANNOT BE 100 % SUBSTANTIATED BUT IT IS BELIEVED TO BE MOSTLY TRUE,  WANT TO BUY A BRIDGE...

 MIKE WAS BORN IN A HOSPITAL BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE NEAR HIS MOTHER.  IT IS REPORTED THAT SHORTLY AFTER BIRTH HE BEGAN HUMMING THE MELODY TO "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY", WHICH HADN'T EVEN BEEN WRITTEN YET !!!   HE SHOULD HAVE SECURED THE COPYRIGHT TO THAT SONG WHILE STILL IN THE HOSPITAL.  OH WELL.  

HE WAS ONLY TWO WHEN HE BEGAN HIS MUSICAL CAREER.  HE STOLE HIS OLDER COUSIN'S RADIO WHICH HE IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TO PLAY WITH UNCANNY ABILITY.  FIRST AM, THEN FM, LATER FM STEREO.  WHERE WOULD IT STOP ??  WHO KNOWS, BUT EVEN NOW HE CARRIES AN MP3 PLAYER WITH HIM CONSTANTLY.  IT CAN BE HEARD WHENEVER THE BAND TAKES A BREAK WHILE PLAYING OUT. 

FROM THERE HE GRADUATED TO THE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT 8-TRACK, THEN REEL TO REEL, AND FINALLY, THE CASSETTE DECK.  IT MUST HAVE BEEN VERY EXCITING TO FOLLOW HIS FAST PACED MUSICAL CAREER !!!

AT 15, HE STARTED HIS FIRST BAND. "THE BASEMENT" WHICH LATER BECAME THE INFAMOUS "GARAGE" AFTER HIS PARENT'S SAID ENOUGH NOISE IN THE HOUSE.  THEY PLAYED FOR MIKE'S 16TH BIRTHDAY.  TOO BAD NO ONE SHOWED UP.  HE LATER BECAME LEAD SINGER FOR A SIX PIECE BAND KNOWN AS THE "ASSOCIATION", YEAH, WE MAY HAVE "BORROWED" THE NAME BUT WHO KNEW THEY'D MAKE IT AND NOT US. 

SO WE CHANGED THE NAME TO THE “GREAT SOCIETY”  OH WELL, WE HAD DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR.

 ANOTHER ONE OF HIS BANDS, "INITIATIVE", HAS BACKED THE LATE GREAT TOM GREEN.  THAT'S RIGHT, AS TOM WOULD TAKE THE STAGE AT OLYMPIC LANES, MIKE WAS "BACK" IN THE PITS FIXING THE BRUNSWICK PINSETTERS !!

HE HAS WORKED WITH NUMEROUS BANDS OVER THE YEARS.  HE HAS CARRIED DRUMS FOR "TRUC", EMPTIED ASH TRAYS AT BARS WHERE "HAI KU" WAS PERFORMING, AND EVEN PARKED CARS AT THE PHISTER HOTEL WHILE "THOSE GOOD INTENTIONS" WERE PERFORMING IN THE CROWN ROOM AT THE TOP OF THE PHISTER !!

CAN IT GET ANY MORE EXCITING THAN THIS !!!????

A local radio station conducted an interview with Mike in regards to the new band. Here are excerpts from that conversation.

Reporter: When is your NEXT Gig?

Mike: AUGUST 9 - GEORGIE PORGIES - With More to follow - See the Schedule Page.

Reporter: What's the new band's name?

Mike: "The MOONLIGHTERS"

Reporter: When is your first gig?

Mike: It was, Were you paying attention earlier? - Wed April 2 !!!

Reporter: Where was it ?

Mike: Still NOT Listening. It was at Zoofari.

Reporter: How many musicians in the band?

Mike: More than 3, less than 20, Actually 6 - Guitar, Keys, Bass, Drums, Sax & a Tambourine Shaker

Reporter: What type of music?

Mike: Good Music, definitely danceable.  Actually, we are staying pretty much with the 50's, 60's and Doo Wop. 

But, there may be a few surprises.

Reporter: How will you memorize all those new songs?

Mike: What ? That's why Beethoven created Charts !

Reporter: We've heard you've had a Birthday recently.

Mike: SHUT UP !!

Reporter: Have you held a practice yet?

Mike: Yes, Several, they are going Well.

Reporter: Is it true you may be writing some original songs?

Mike: Yep

Reporter: I heard that the Title of the first tune is, "No, That's Not an Animal, With It's Foot Caught In a Trap"

Mike: No Comment.

Reporter: Folks wanted to know what you did with the money...

Mike: What money?

Reporter: The money your folks gave you for the Music Lessons.

Mike: Spent it on beer, but I'm now trying to make up for it with Keyboard and Voice Lessons.

Reporter: It's rumored that you are taking music lessons now..

Mike: I ALREADY ANSWERED THAT IN THE PREVIOUS QUESTION ! ARE YOU LISTENING ??? AND YES, I AM YELLING !!

Reporter: Are the other musicians old also?

(Loud Smack followed by a Thud)  Mike: Now, where was I, Not All of them, Someone has to be able to read the 

Set List and call out the songs and, this Interview is OVER !!
